Ex-Deloitte partner takes non-exec role at Northamber
Gordon Hamilton takes a non-exec role at IT distributor Northamber, having been its auditor two decades ago
FORMER DELOITTE senior partner Gordon Hamilton takes on a non-exec role at IT distributor Northamber.
Hamilton worked at Deloitte & Touche for more than 30 years, latterly as senior audit partner, before his retirement in 2006. He has worked with Northamber in the past when he was responsible for its audit in the late 1990’s.
David Phillips, chairman, said: “Gordon brings to the post a vast experience in a wide range of industries and an extensive knowledge of financial matters and experience of the City. He will, we are sure, be a most valuable addition to the board.”
Hamilton’s current directorships include London listed insurance group Beazley, and Johannesburg-listed Barloworld. He has also been a member of the UK Financial Reporting Review Panel since 2002.
