Former financial controller and acting finance director Nick Taylor takes the top finance role at Begbies

NICK TAYLOR has been made the group finance director role and a board director at listed firm Begbies Traynor.

He has been acting GFD since August following the departure of John Griffins who joined NCC in a similar role.

Taylor, who qualified with KPMG, joined the group in November 2007 as group financial controller, and has held senior finance roles at United Utilities and Vertex Data Science.

Ric Traynor [pictured], executive chairman of Begbies, said: “Nick has proved to be a dedicated and committed financial controller who has made the transition to the role of finance director with ease.”
