Chantrey Vellacott swoops for Southampton firmas it focuses on expansion in the south west
SOUTHAMPTON FIRM Rogers Evans has been acquired by Chantrey Vellacott.
The 23-year old firm, which has three directors, will rebrand to Chantrey Vellacott (CV) and continue to operate in the region.
Rogers Evans’ Southampton and Bournemouth offices will move to CV – its other offices are run as separate businesses.
“It is a firm which we believe is well established but also has great potential. It is an exciting acquisition for both parties,” said Chantrey Vellacott managing partner Mike Tovey.
“We believe that Rogers Evans’ place in the market will be boosted by being a part of Chantrey Vellacott and this is the first step in a planned expansion out towards the south west.”
Chantrey Vellacott currently employs around 350 staff and its roots can be traced back to 1788.
