    KPMG-trained accountant takes reins in gaming company

    Charles Butler becomes chief executive at NetPlay

    A former KPMG-trained accountant has been appointed chief executive of internet gaming company NetPlay.

    Charles Butler, the current group managing director of NetPlay, will take over from Martin Higginson who is stepping down to focus on his investment company.

    Butler has spent the last ten years in the gaming industry and was CEO of Bowman International, a global sports betting company, for six years.

    He said the firm is now on a firm footing, with a clear strategy and a renewed focus on the core live casino product.

    “I am confident that 2011 will be a very productive year,” he said.
