A PWC PARTNER has been honoured as this year’s Woman of Achievement at the 2010 Women in the City Awards.
Pam Jackson, who is a partner in the Big Four firm’s mergers and acquisitions tax team, received the award for her role in promoting gender diversity both within and outside PwC.
“Pam’s vision and support have helped foster greater visibility and profile for women within PwC and encouraged more women to apply for senior positions,” said awards founder Gwen Rhys.
Jackson is an active member of the firm’s women’s network and a founder of both its female partner and director group and a mentoring scheme for women.
“The City and our industry is lucky to have someone who sets such an outstanding example for commercial and personal achievement,” said PwC chairman Ian Powell. “She will be an inspiration to women not just in our business but across the City too.”
