Accountancy Age Awards 2010 Employer of the Year - Campbell Dallas
Among the many signs a business is an employee-friendly place to work, one stands out – staff don’t get sick.
Campbell Dallas boasts a sickness/absence rate of about 1% and a steadily falling staff turnover rate which has dropped by an average of 7% across all departments and remains well below the industry average of 15%.
What’s more, during the last twelve months, retention levels in staff with more than six months service was a perfect 100% during the last 12 months – not bad for a firm whose headcount jumped from 40 to over 160 since 1999.
The firm’s staff seem to be its most valued asset. Heavy investment in a practice management system, alongside increased training to staff has invigorated staff and instilled a real sense of ownership.
