Firm investigates emails which ranked female staff
PwC in Ireland has launched an investigation into a series of emails which ranked female members of staff according to their looks, according to the Irish Independent.
The emails are reported to involve 17 male staffers in the firm who wrote about 13 women and attached photographs. The messages also made their way outside the firm.
Carmel O’Connor, partner in charge of HR in the firm, is quoted saying: “We are taking this matter extremely seriously. We will take all necessary steps and actions in line with our firm’s policies and procedures.”
