Grant Thornton has acquired legal consultancy Legal Inc to beef up its forensic services.
Legal Inc is a 14-man team. It specialises in forensically investigating electronic information.
Steve Cornmell, forensic managing partner at Grant Thornton, said the latest acquisition would allow the firm to work with international markets and address the “fast-moving world” of information.
Co-founder of Legal Inc, Lisa Burton, said: “Under the lead of Grant Thornton, we now have the remit and resources to develop one of the UK’s foremost forensics and investigations units.”
