Former E&Y manager launches SME practice software
Ex-Ernst & Young senior manager Ian Katté has created practice management software
A former Big Four accountant has launched practice management software aimed at SME accountancy firms.
Ian Katté, a former senior manager at Ernst & Young, co-founded and created BTCSoftware last year which already has a self assessment product.
The latest practice management technology is designed to collate client corporate tax information. Most of the software’s functionality was created based on user suggestions.
The new practice management software was labeled a “winner” by TM Professional tax partner Edit Gardner.
Katté, who was frequently frustrated by the lack of versatility of tax software products for small practices, previously described the software available to the market as “poorly designed, clunky and hardly great value for money”.
