Malaysian-controlled company appoints appoints accountant
Small Cap company Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc has announced the appointment
of accountant John Lim Ewe Chuan as executive director.
Lim, a business advisory partner based in the London office of accountants
UHY Hacker Young LLP and a board member of UHY International, is already a
non-executive director of the Malaysian-controlled company, which is listed on
the London Stock Exchange.
Anglo-Eastern Plantations operates and develops palm oil and rubber
plantations based in Malaysia and Indonesia. Lim, who has worked as an
accountant in both Malaysia and the UK, will be responsible for the company’s
corporate finance and corporate affairs.
He begins at the company on 1 September.
