Former E&Y partner Christopher Legge joins fund manager Ashmore as non-executive director
Fund manager Ashmore Global Opportunities has appointed former Ernst &
Young partner Christopher Legge as one of two new non-executive directors to the
board.
Guernsey resident Legge, who qualified as a chartered accountant in 1980 with
Ernst & Young before rising to senior partner of Ernst & Young in the
Channel Islands, also holds directorships in BH Macro Ltd, Goldman Sachs Dynamic
Opportunities Ltd and Third Point Offshore Investors Ltd. He retired from Ernst
& Young in 2003.
The company has also announced the retirement of George Grunebaum from the
board of directors. In retiring, Grunebaum also resigns his role of audit
committee chairman, with Legge also taking up this post with effect from today.
