BDO poaches legal tax specialist

Joins from rival firm Smith & Williamson

Mid-tier firm BDO Stoy Hayward has lured
high-profile tax specialist Colin Ives from rival mid-tier firm
Smith & Williamson.

It means that Ives has rejoined the firm where he began his career in 1979 as
a partner.

Ives will head up BDO’s professional service tax division, having previously
been head of professional practice tax at Smith & Williamson.

His new role at BDO will see him advise professional services firm on tax and
related issues.
