Staff at the ICAEW, on Moorgate place, were sitting tight after today’s
explosions.
The institute is just five minutes from Moorgate station, where a blast was
reported.
The ICAEW is in contact with City of London police in an attempt to establish
whether or not to evacuate.
All staff have been accounted for, a spokeswoman said. Meanwhile staff are
being advised to stay where they are.
The ACCA also said that it had accounted for all of its staff, with some
being sent home having got halfway to work.
CIMA staff are also thought to all have been accounted for, a spokeswoman
said.
A spokeswoman for CIPFA said that the institute was waiting for more news to
know how to advise its staff to proceed.
