FTSE100 accounting software company Sage has confirmed its purchase of business management software provider ACCPAC.

The deal, initially announced on 23 December 2003, is valued at $106m (£57m) and was paid for in cash.
ACCPAC’s former parent company Computer Associates is currently undergoing a joint inquiry by the SEC and the US Attorney’s Office concerning its accounting practices.
