Accountancy Age recognised.

Accountancy Age editor Damian Wild (left) has been shortlisted in the prestigious British Society of Magazine Editors Annual Awards.

This is the second time the Accountancy Age team has been recognised. Only last week online editor Matthew Gerry was shortlisted in the same awards, which will be presented at London’s Hilton Hotel on 26 November.

Becoming editor last May, Wild has been shortlisted in the Business and Professional Magazines Weekly category alongside Fleet News, Hospital Doctor, Press Gazette and Building magazine.

Gerry, online editor for the past 18 months, has been shortlisted in the Online Editor category, alongside editors from music website NME.com, women’s magazine Allabouteve.com and wine publication Decanter.com.

Earlier this year Accountancy Age news editor Chris Quick was named Tax Journalist of the Year at the Tolley’s Tax Awards, while in May, for the second year, Accountancy Age won the Emerald Golden Page Award.
