Appointment at Leeds Community and Mental Health Services Teaching

CIPFA accountant Rick Tompkins has been appointed by Leeds Community and Mental Health Services Teaching NHS Trust as a non-executive director to the board. Tompkins, of Leeds, joins the trust after a career in financial management in local government and the water industry. As well as his financial background, his work as a Bradford magistrate will enable him to deliver impartial advice to the board. Tompkins worked as a self-employed pension fund investment consultant after retiring from Yorkshire Water in 1997.
