Great Plains has acquired PWA Group for US$387m as part of its attempt to be the leading e-business software provider in the world.
The acquisition of PWA, the parent company of PWC Personnel Systems, means they will be able to deliver ‘integrated e-business front and back office software solutions to the mid market.’
With the acquisition, Great Plains intends to deliver what it calls powerful e/HR solutions and moves closer to its aims of automating all processes that occur between its company and its people.
Marlow-based PWA MD Paul Wallace said: ‘The joining of our firms will provide a one-stop-shop for fully integrated systems for the mid-market.’
