Druid grows turnover
Druid Group’s half yearly interim results show a big rise in turnover with an increase of 52 per cent. This is coupled with a 34 per cent rise in pre-tax profits, to #2.4m, over the same period in 1996. Staff numbers also rose. Commenting on the results chairman David Tebbs said: “I am pleased to report good progress in all areas of the business … investments made in the first half year are already contributing to the strong revenue growth which we expect to continue for the remainder of the year.” PA Consulting Group’s Interim Management Practice will be opening new European offices in Munich, Amsterdam and Denmark to mark the launch of an international expansion programme. Plans to open an office in Australia in 1998 are also underway. The consultancy firm aims to expand its interim management services globally to satisfy the demand from multinational clients for managers able to manage cross-border business and culture change. “International interims need to show that thay are multi-cultural, mobile and multi-lingual to contribute to cross-border collaboration and ventures,” commented John Murray, international head of PA Interim Management.
