Solution One, based in Tewkesbury, has produced Self Assessment For Employers (SAFE). The software is designed to help payroll and financial staff record and calculate benefits and cash equivalents that have to be reported on P11D and P9D forms. The software produces reports showing how cash equivalents were calculated and allows them to complete their own forms. SAFE works with Windows 3.1 and 95; prices start at u225.
Cedardata last month announced the availability of its latest version, cfacs 8. Designed to work with Oracle 7 Server, cfacs 8 includes a Windows-style interface with pull-down menus. The new version supports general ledger, sales and purchase ledger, fixed asset, purchase order processing and stock control functions.
Platinum Software is readying new Advanced Allocations and Budget Manager modules to debut at Softworld at Earls Court on 19-20 February. The new products are the result of a development deal with US company Integra Solutions and will work with Platinum SQL for Windows NT and Platinum for Windows.
