Institute sues Mitchell
The English ICA (right) is suing former chartered accountant David Campbell Mitchell for the u87,000 costs of disciplinary hearings against him. Mitchell, one-time chairman of Geneva-based James Ferguson Holdings, the company which reversed into Barlow Clowes, was excluded from the institute in 1995 after an investigation by the Joint Disciplinary Scheme into the collapse of Barlow Clowes. According to the institute’s writ, Mitchell failed to pay the cost of disciplinary proceedings. Neither the institute nor Mitchell, now officially listed as retired and living in Geneva were available for further comment.
