Deloitte appoints new head of global financial services

Deloitte has appointed Chris Harvey as leader of its global financial services industry group.

Harvey has been working as global head of banking and securities since 2008 and takes over from Jack Ribeiro, who is now chairman of the group Harvey leads.

Deloitte said that Harvey will focus his efforts on growing business in Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe while nurturing well-established practices in the US, UK and Europe.
