KPMG has acquired business intelligence consultancy Analitica for an undisclosed fee.

The consultancy will be absorbed within the firm's performance and technology advisory division, and boosts its efforts to grow in the Hyperion Planning implementation market.

"Business intelligence is an important element within P&T’s expanding range of advisory services as we help our clients in the public and private sector to run their organisations more effectively in these challenging times,” said Scott Parker, head of UK performance and technology at KPMG.

"We’re focused on significant growth for KPMG P&T having expanded to more than 1,000 people in the last five years," he added.
