The Open Championship at St Andrews wasn’t the only big golf tournament taking place
last week.

The Accountancy Age and Financial Director Golf Challenge, sponsored by GlobalExpense, drew in a crowd of 56 accounting Westwoods and Mickelsons last Thursday at Porters Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire.

Split into teams of four, the challenge consisted of the best three scores counting from each four balls per hole. Networking opportunities and a prize giving dinner then followed.

The team from west London firm Bright Grahame Murray came out on top.

GlobalExpense chief executive David Vine, who presented the prize to the winners, said: “The Accountancy Age golf day was a really excellent day. The course was great, the surroundings were beautiful and the atmosphere was full of fun. Everyone had a great day. There were brilliant opportunities for networking, and I’d like to say a big well done to Bright Grahame Murray whose team won the day.”
