Both the FA and the Premier League want clubs to divulge more information, BBC Sport online reported - this follows disclosures made by Manchester United regarding fees paid to agents and pressure from major shareholders calling on the club to improve its accounting practices.
Man Utd revealed that £13m of the £158m spent on players had been paid to agents over a three-year period.
