UK Sport is looking to fill the newly-created post of finance director.
The body, which looks at investing £100m of lottery funding and public money to create British sporting champions, has created the role in response to its growing responsibilities leading up to London's Olympic games in 2012.
Finance was previously under the remit of UK Sport's director of corporate services, however it has been split out creating the new post.
'With a doubling of income in the last year, a diverse range of bodies in which we invest and increasing public attention on the world of sport, this will be an exciting role for a high-caliber individual,' claimed the ad.
The body was established by Royal Charter in 1996.
