Microsoft is partnering with online accounting software provider e-conomic to boost sales of its business technology offering, allowing both packages to be accessed via the internet.

The latest collaboration will see customers able to use the combined business software of Microsoft Dynamics and e-conomic on a monthly subscription basis allowing for easy cash flow management and quicker updates.

The software can be accessed and saved via either an in-house or hosted server.

Anders Hansen, vice president C&P e-conomic, said: 'We want to give e-conomic as much versatility as possible to link with other software and we’re delighted to team up with a major player like Microsoft.'

Bjørn Skou Eilertsen, Microsoft Dynamics CRM sales Western Europe, said: 'To Microsoft, the co-operation with e-conomic gives us an exciting and innovative expansion of our existing product portfolio outside Denmark.

'e-conomic's customers will be able to choose between either a solution integrating ERP and CRM for installation on their own servers or a combined hosted online solution – all depending on their firm's requirements' he added.

Users of the joint package should be able to link their accounting and CRM systems with minimal requirements as both companies have access to the same interface; meaning both systems will speak the same language making data transference easier.
