KPMG is being consulted on a government review of private finance initiatives in Wales, following concerns that country is 'closed for business' when it comes to public-private funding.
The Welsh assembly finance committee is to take evidence from the Big Four firm as part of a review of the state of PFI following the assembly government's decision not to use such schemes to fund health projects.
Funding for PFI in Wales is just £205 per person, whereas in Scotland the figure is £1000, according to figures seen by BBC Wales.
The assembly ruled out PFI funding for health, claiming that it had not proved value for money.
