The US taxman is looking to help taxpayers struggling to meet their commitments due to the economic crisis.
The Internal Revenue Service will offer some payment flexibility to taxpayers, which could include deferrals or adjusting payments.
Its free online filing system will be expanded to practically all taxpayers, reported WebCPA.
Due to housing market uncertainty, it will also consider not necessarily relying on previous real estate valuations to judge a person's ability to pay.
