Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man have been congratulated by the Organisation of Economic Co-Operation and Development for playing a proactive role in coming to tax information sharing agreements with their economic partners.

The Isle of Man has now signed 14 agreements, 12 of which are with OECD countries. In the past week Jersey has taken its number of agreements to 13 having signed ones with France and Ireland, while Guernsey signed agreements with France, Germany and Ireland, bringing its total to 13.

Jersey and the Isle of Man have also played a constructive role in the work of the Sub-Group on Level Playing Field Issues, a spokesman from the OECD says.
