PwC defends Rover fees

Rover administrator PricewaterhouseCoopers has been paid £10m over the past 12 months since the collapse of the carmaker.

The fees are split between £8m for work on MG Rover and £2.1m on its engine business Powertrain.

A PwC spokeswoman said the fees reflected the size of the administration and the 'huge amount of work' involved. 'To put it in context, we've generated in excess of £150m so our fees make up less than 7% of that figure,' said the spokeswoman.
'Fees are approved by the creditors.'
