A £100m Yorkshire textiles retailer has entered into administration.

The Rosebys group of 280 stores, which employs 2,000 staff and turns over £100m, appointed joint administrators from KPMG.

Difficult trading conditions has seen the business post losses and it has been unable to refinance, said joint administrator Howard Smith.

The business will trade as normal as a buyer is sought.

'No employees have been made redundant to date,' added Smith.
