Patrick Regan has won the top finance spot at insurance giant Aviva, which has named him as its next CFO.
Regan was previously at insurance brokers Willis which he joined in 2006 as chief financial officer, taking on the additional title of chief operating officer last year.
Willis, who created and chairs the Capital Markets & Advisory division at Willis, has over 21 years financial services experience having previously worked as group financial controller for RSA and finance director for the UK general insurance arm of AXA.
Regan succeeds Philip Scott as CFO later this year. Scott became CFO at Aviva in 2007 having been executive director of Aviva International since 2003.
Patrick Regan said: "I’ve been very impressed by both the quality of the organisation and the people that I have met during this process, and I very much look forward to working with Andrew (the CEO) and his team."
Andrew Moss Aviva's former CFO was promoted to the CEO role succeeding Richard Harvey who retired.
