BDO goes big in China

BDO International said it has more than doubled its presence in China, after Shu Lun Pan Management Co, one of China’s largest independent accounting firms, joined the accounting firm's international network.

SLP ManCo, which has five firms in mainland China and offices throughout the country, had revenues of more than RMB 650 million (about £64m) in 2007.

BDO expects its China unit to report revenues of more than £97m this year.

The integration of SLP ManCo into BDO International means that the firm now employs nearly 4,000 people in China.
