Tenon awards payroll IT contract

A new payroll IT system has been purchased by Tenon.

The contract has been awarded to Albany Software, for its ALBACSbureau cs service. The system allows Tenon to increase the number of Bacs payments for the firm and its customers.

Tenon, which is sekking approval for its acquisition of Bentley Jennison, now sends out in excess of £1m of payments on a daily basis, including 40,000 payroll submissions on behalf of clients and the firm.

Grant Sayer, national operations and technical director of Tenon Outsourcing, said: “It soon became clear that we needed a solution that would facilitate our growing number of customer payments and ALBACSbureau cs provided us with a system that specifically met all our requirements.”

The system enables greater control over Tenon’s payment operations through reporting functions as well as streamlining its back office processes with the introduction of multi-user and remote-access across the whole business.
