PC World is offering a laptop worth more than £300 free to people who sign a
two-year contract for Orange broadband.
They will also have the option of trading up to a more expensive laptop for
from £19.99, or getting £350 of any chosen laptop in the store.
Niall O’Keeffe, marketing director of PC World, claimed today that the
£14.99-a-month 2Mbits/sec Orange contract is already one of the most competitive
available.
He added: “I am sure that the inclusion of a free laptop will electrify the
market.”
The laptops will have Wifi, a 15.4in display, a Celeron processor, 256MB memory,
a 40GB hard drive and a DVD burner.
