Business Intelligence firm QlikTech has updated its flagship product QlikView.
QlikView 8.5 offers a new analysis feature that allows users to compare two sets of data at once.

“The QlikView screens can be designed easily to have a comparative view”, said Andy Honess, QlikTech UK managing director. Users can also bookmark a selection of data to compare at a later date, he said.
Additionally QlikTech has added drag and drop capabilities, which allow QlikView objects to be moved inside Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
New deployment and integration features will simplify QlikView integration with third party software, including J2EE server applications, said the firm. AJAX and Java clients will allow QlikView to be deployed faster to a large number of users, it added.
