New pricing models for disaster recovery

NetApp has added to its pricing for ReplicatorX disaster recovery platform

Written by Martin Courtney

NetApp has introduced a range of new pricing models to its ReplicatorX disaster recovery platform in the hope of expanding its appeal to smaller enterprises.

New enterprise and standard editions are joined by a version that supports data migration and cloning of production data for firms engaged in software testing and development, plus one optimized for use by service providers to offer disaster recovery packages to their own customers.

The company has also introduced a per Terabyte pricing model whereby customers pay only for the amount of data they protect rather than for a full license.

The starting price point for the ReplicatorX cloning edition is £7,500 per TB for any amount of data to be protected which is less than or equal to 11TB.
