Siebel, PeopleSoft, JDE and E-business Suite upgraded

Oracle is due to make significant announcements regarding the development of its Applications enterprise resource planning lines.
The software giant has scheduled satellite-linked events in London and other major international cities to launch “five major new releases across all of its applications product lines”.
The firm did not release more details but Oracle’s website provides details of new versions of JD Edwards World, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle E-buisness Suite and Siebel.
Perhaps most significant product is Siebel CRM Release 8.0 with tools for automating business rules, business processes and decision-support systems, as well as support for Fusion middleware.
Oracle is also expected to provide an update on its progress in developing a single code base for the applications lines.
