TomorrowNow plans more cover

Baan added to support options roster

Written by Martin Veitch

Third-party maintenance specialist TomorrowNow has delivered over 350 new tax and regulatory updates for users of JD Edwards and PeopleSoft enterprise applications, and detailed plans for more applications coverage.

The company said its update process is preferable to standard practice among ERP vendors because organisations need only test and install relevant updates.

Acquired by SAP in January 2005, TomorrowNow is building a substantial business in attracting users of enterprise applications to hand over support reins to its service. The firm now employs about 150 staff, has 10 offices, including a UK facility, and currently supports PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Siebel software and is expanding to embrace Baan.

TomorrowNow chief executive Andrew Nelson said the company is looking at other options.

“You should probably expect us to do one more than Baan in 2007,” Nelson said. “We have a global infrastructure and we want to be the emergency response team [for ERP users].”
