Earlier this year, LAR Teksys was acquired by private equity investors Alan Watkins and Kevin Lewis (CRN 9 January), who revealed the firm would be making a number of acquisitions to build its business.

Watkins said: “Since our acquisition of Teksys in December 2007, we have identified a number of core competency areas for further investment. These are Licensing & software asset management, Sharepoint, Virtualisation, and Unified Communications. This acquisition represents the most recent investment decision that we are making to expand and increase our offerings to our customers, and drive adoption of Microsoft technologies.

“Tech MS is well respected for its expertise in Virtualisation and has developed a number of support tools that will enhance our Managed Services offerings”.
