Written by Kayleigh Bateman

Business application vendor SAP has launched an ‘Extended Business’ programme to encourage collaboration between SAP channel partners and non-channel partners in the SME space.

Members of the programme become part of the vendor’s wider ecosystem, by partnering with VARs under the SAP PartnerEdge programme.

SAP said the role of companies in the Extended Business programme is to promote opportunities in the SME space, as well as promoting, marketing and implementing the SAP solutions in collaboration with an authorised VAR partner.

Enrolment to the voluntary programme is free and open to all companies working with SAP Business All-in-One solution as well as the SAP Business One application.

At present, the vendor said there are 30 SAP channel partners in the ecosystem maintaining close business relationships with more than 100 third-party companies.
