EVAD talks up the benefits of its new partner's VoIP offering

Reseller Ethos Voice and Data (EVAD) believes the resilience of new vendor partner Inclarity’s hosted voice over IP (VoIP) offering will help the market come of age.

EVAD’s group telecoms director Nick Frangione said he had been keen to add a hosted product to the VAR’s communications portfolio.

“We pride ourselves on giving customers the right solution rather than shoehorning them into something in our portfolio,” he said. Frangione revealed that EVAD is close to rolling out its first major
hosted project.

“Hosted has been a bit of a toddler, stumbling along, but with Inclarity it has come of age,” he said.
Inclarity’s southern UK channel manager Gill Earle added: “EVAD is a sizeable player. Its commitment and the way it wants to work makes it the kind of partner we want.”

Keith Humphreys, managing consultant at analyst Eurolan, said: “We are going to see some of the voice resellers that have just sold minutes moving across to a hosted voice model, as it is cheaper than reselling a service provider’s minutes.”
