SAP signs Seidor

Vendor continues its indirect SME push by signing partnership deal with European reseller

Written by Kayleigh Bateman

Software house SAP has strengthened its efforts to make its SME business to 100 per cent channel focus through the signing of European reseller group Seidor.

Currently a SAP gold partner in Spain, Argentina, Chile and France, the reseller has extended its reach to the UK after joining SAP’s UK PartnerEdge programme.

With an 800 strong SAP consultancy team worldwide, Seidor boasts over 500 customers including Bimbo, Camper and Cosentino.

Having just launched its UK operations Seidor will focus on the construction, real estate and facilities management sectors, highlighting potential opportunities surrounding the upcoming Olympics.

Ciaran Rafferty, managing director of Seidor UK, said: “People think that the economic downturn is taking its toll on the construction, real estate and facilities management sectors, however there are still lots of opportunities for resellers and this is where Seidor will focus in the UK.”

Cathy Daum, SME EMEA regional channels at SAP, said: “SAP had a good relationship with Seidor in Spain and wanted to extend that to the UK. It has a good pool of consultants and pre-sales expertise."
