Beijing systems gear up for Paralympics transition

IT systems used to support Beijing 2008 to be modified for the Paralympic Games next month

Beijing 2008's IT systems are to be modified for the Paralympic Games less than two weeks after the end of the Olympic Games.

The IT team, led by Atos Origin, Worldwide IT Partner to the International Paralympic Committee and the Olympic Games, will set up new systems and run quality control checks.

Four thousand athletes, including three sponsored by Atos Origin, will compete over the 12 days of the competition, which starts on 6 September.
