C&W will continue handling customer calls for BSkyB

BSkyB renews telecoms deal with C&W

The contract is said to be worth around £60m for the next three years

Written by Angelica Mari

Broadcaster BSkyB has signed a contract extension with Cable & Wireless (C&W) to handle all inbound customer calls into its UK call centres.

The value of the contract has not been disclosed, but industry insiders believe it to be around £50 to £60m for services provided in the next three years.

BSkyB’s network is already managed from C&W’s UK hub, which is monitored by an interactive traffic management system. The supplier also provides an in-house reporting service covering some 8.9 million UK and Ireland customers.
