Unilever and HP cement relationship with $675m deal

Consumer goods conglomerate enters a seven-year, multimillion-dollar outsourcing contract with HP

Unilever has signed a $675m (£344m) deal with HP to outsource the management of large parts of its technology infrastructure.

The deal includes the management of disaster recovery services and corporate data centres across Unilever's operations in the Americas, Asia, Africa, Turkey and Middle East.

HP will also manage third-party contracts in these regions and take on 250 Unilever employees.
