Four-year Liverpool Victoria deal is estimated to be worth between £15m and £30m

Written by Tom Young

Insurance company Liverpool Victoria (LV) has signed an outsourcing contract with Atos Origin following the recent termination of a £160m, 13-year deal with EDS after only four years.

The four year Atos deal is estimated by analyst Ovum to be worth between £15m and £30m.

The deal includes taking over the infrastructure services provided by EDS, but the insurer is expected to reassign some of the other functions to other outsourcers.
