NHS software supplier iSoft has reported a £343.8m loss and suspended its commercial director.
The company, which is responsible for hospital systems in three of the five regions of the £6bn National Programme for NHS IT, is also under investigation by the Financial Services Authority for possible breaches of accounting standards. iSoft has already issued two profit warnings this year and chief executive Tim Whiston resigned in June.
