The largest non-national firm in the UK, Kingston Smith is regularly ranked among the twenty biggest firms in the country.
Since it was founded in 1923 by Herbert Kingston and George Alan Smith, the firm has entrenched itself in its London and South East heartland. It has always had close links with the City and over the years many of its partners have also held senior roles within the City of London.
The firm now has 400 employees working in six offices in the South East. Its strong connections with this region, however, have not stopped the firm from casting its eyes abroad. The firm was a founding member of the KS International Network, which has a presence in 49 countries.
The firm generated revenues of £34m in 2006, holding its own against other national firms with a far wider geographical spread.
