During his three-year stay Anstee has overseen a period of great change for the institute, driving through continuing professional development and looking to give it more influence in government and internationally.

Yet his drive has proved controversial, angering ICAS over a proposed name change and then some of his members during the failed attempt to merge with CIPFA.

Listen to Accountancy Age's podcast interview with Anstee following the announcement, and read the thoughts of those in the industry about his tenure.
